Guys, in the old days, there was a reason for discharging batteries fully. This was true from a practical standpoint on many systems that used nicad batteries.
Unfortunately, many “experts” have proclaimed the same charge regime on different chargers and different battery chemistries.
all of these take different charging systems and handling, gel cell, nicad, mimih, lithium ion, li-fe …
Some are similar, some very different.
