The USB dongles are coming Don, just communicated with JK and Navin a couple of days ago.

I’m going to try to do some videos of the sound so people can decide which sound files to download.

I beta tested the HO receiver, I have it running in an eggliner, it’s pretty cool.

Greg… I would agree about the HO receiver… Here’s an installation I did a couple of years ago when it first came out. It still runs great… .

Ha ha! That’s an awfully big horn for such a little loco!

Seriously, seems to work well, and if we get the firmware changed so the same transmitter runs both the HO and the LS, it will be a boon to many people.

Greg

Don, elsewhere, you mentioned that these MTO batteries have a "next generation battery Protection Circuit Module (board). Can you describe it and how it works?

Yup, you’re right, Greg… That’s the only negative about the system in the Hartland Mack Phil Jensen 'bash. Should be more of a “beep-beep” rather than a blast… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

It runs about 8 hours on a 2600 mAh 11.1 volt Li-ion battery…

Hi Guys and ladies. Here is an update to the REVO RX.

Sounds SD60 and SD33eco now have a manual horn. Use button 4!!!

When using the USB programmer remember to press reset to load another sound and if necessary remove the USB programmer and reinsert if it will not load another sound.

I keep asking for variable sound level not three steps but we got a manual horn.

Yea! Now, how do I upload it?

Hi Steve, you will need to get the USB programmer to update your REVO RX. After you get one or borrow one, download the USB program from Precision R/C web site. Next download the SD60 and SD33eco files.

To use the USB programmer follow the one page instructions. It is a two step procedure to upload new sounds.

Enjoy, Don

Revo update.

I asked JK for variable sound volume and he said YES!! I explained how Dallee and Phoenix offer this capability. In the next revision of the receiver firmware he will add it. Not sure when or what buttons he will choose. I suggested using button 9. Press and hold for increase volume and press and hold to lower volume.

What would you guys like to see?

Don

Press and hold #9 to increase volume, press and hold #7 to decrease volume would make more sense. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Hi Joe, thanks for the input. I will pass this onto JK.

Hi Sean, the REVO is doing well. Reliability is great and so are Sales. Navin is available for any kind of REVO and Aristo Craft service. Call or email him. No web site for service.

Navin’s phone is 201-565-6069. email: [email protected]

JK released a new steam sound, S_N90 which is the best so far. Press # 4 for short whistle. Press #3 for crossing. Press 2 for bell that rings for 10 sec. Much better, high #9, medium #8 and , low #9 for volume control. But the steam engine has a really good chuff. Got to love it for free!!
