Large Scale Central

Congratulations Shawn!

Congratulations Shawn! Just received my Garden railways yesterday and read your article. I have watched your videos for a couple of years now and never realized your layout was just 90 feet! So much detail and outstanding landscaping and your railroad is right up there with much larger layouts! You have given us all so many ideas for our own roads!

Again, thanks and congrats.

I just mailed my “Free Trial Issue” card from a recent RLD purchase. Hopefully I’ll get the April issue.

Congrats Shawn, a very nice article.
At ECLSTS they usually have copies of GR for free. Maybe Shawn can set up a table for an autograph session!

I had coffee with a guy yesterday in north Joisey who looks just like the guy in GR…Hhhhmmmmmmmmmm.

Reading the story was a little like Deja Vu…since we’ve watched this RR grow over the past several years.

Good job Shawn, on the RR and the story!

Finally got it! Given the time it took to get published I’m assuming the kids are in college now?

Great job!

I didnt realize it took that long to publish an article. You gonna do a here and now pictorial for us lucky people here?? I realize that windter is in full swing. I was figuring sometime this summer…

Great suggestion Jake. It would be nice to see what everyone is doing with the space they have. We see lots of pics, but what I would like is a trackplan of their layouts. Doesn’t have to be to an accurate scale but give a general idea of what you have done in your available space.

The Pony Express came through, today. He said that his horse had thrown a shoe.

Uh huh.

Great article, Shawn!

Read the article today, very well done!

My GR arrived today, too, and I sat right down and read your article Shawn, but only after admiring the cover. Splendid layout, splendid modeling, splendid article. You give all of us ideas, concepts to emulate, and standards to aspire. Congratulations on being a published author!

Just got mine and the article looks fantastic Shawn Good work on getting it published.

Congratulations Shawn, very nicely done. It fits well with the great snow videos you published on the Aristo Forum. As others have said, it is really great to see layouts published by people we actually communicate with on the Forums.

Awesome article and photos of your layout.

Congrats Shawn

Nicely written, Shawn. One of these days we’ll make it up there. Congratulations for winning that honorary mention as well as being the cover story!

Just got mine, nice RR!

Paul

Gazing wistfully out at the snowdrifts that cover my backyard, I have so far read Shawn’s Kittatinny piece twice. Very nice.
Three more months till spring

Shawn,

Congratulations. That is really an accomplishment to have not only a feature article but one really good looking garden railway. Only you will know what it took to get this done. Seeing it in print makes it worth the effort. What a great way to give back to the community! Humbling indeed.

Congratulations Shawn. We just got our GR. maz yesterday. Nice artical and very nice.
