Large Scale Central

Challenged TOO Rooster

A few weeks ago I received a package in the mail from Vic Smith so I decided with that forgotten about surprise I would enter this contest. I started with an Aristo track cleaning car and some 1/8" sheet styrene for the sides and top. Then I riveted some .020x.250 styrene strips. I made the general configuration from the 1/8" styrene and attached it to the base of the car. The roof lines are scribed and the grab handles are made from 1/16" brass. The idea for this model was from pictures I spotted on Northeast Rails site. The car works out to about a large 1:20 scale. Now please note that he (the car) is a bit challenged but quite happy, so try not to make too much fun of him as he is sensitive and tries very hard to get things right. With that said may I present!!! “RALPHIE THE RIVETED RAIL SCALE”

You do nice work for a bird brain
Ralph

Thats great LOL

My inspiration was found here http://www.northeast.railfan.net/equipment3.html no more challenges for me as I have a list of stuff to make. I would like to eventually sell RALPHIE but I gotta let him try to earn his weight first. When and if he does come up 4 sale the check will probably be made to a charity/organization of my choice!

Thanks for making me clean the computer screen and keyboard. That first pic of the face did me in. LMAO

Love the face

Northeast railfan site is a dangerous site to navigate. Too many bad ideas.
