Thanks for the invite, but I think I will just try and get one of my three open projects done before spring. None of them qualify as MOW.
That's cool Jon. Three projects should give us something to talk about. Ralph

Shawn,
Since you still have almost 2 months left, maybe you need a second piece of firefighting equipment.
The back woods is a big place. No reason your entry can’t be two or three cars

????? Let's see I run a business, have a child, work on our old 1:1 scale house, donate time for our local museum and have 2 other projects going already! Did I mention my wifes constant 3 to 4 times a day sexual demands but I'm gonna manage to put something together. No excuse Jon your just being a baby! ;)

So David what do you do after breakfest. ;)

I think it should have read; “You’re” just being a baby… the word “Your” is not the one you wanted, in this situation…

…as far as the challenge…I don’t compete in the hobby…I just share it with others, and we all win, and no-one looses.

My project, is to finish work on two B’mann box cars. I’m changing the roof walks and reversing the doors on them, before body mounting Kadee couplers on them. Then…I have about a dozen other B’mann assorted cars to put body mounted Kadee’s on, while checking/setting all the wheels for proper gauge…
Along with that project; I have a dozen Aristo WR switches that I’m replacing the guard rails on, along with the replacement of the throw bars. I replace the guard rails with Aluminium rail, at the proper spacing, and the throw bars are replaced with brass flat stock.

Lots of work to keep me busy......without competing with anyone....

The Railroad will OPERATE much better with the work I’m putting into these projects…the proof is in how few derailments we have while having full operations every Saturday all Summer long.

I’ll hash out the voting procedures after we see how many entries we have.
Any questions, let me know.
Ralph

Here we go.
Still plenty of time to join
Ralph

As anyone that admits to knowing me will tell you…I’m very challenged in most anything I do…sometimes even thinking is more than I can attempt…I do nap well almost any time, night or day or even in the “Twilight Zone”…!!!

A lot of people will admit to having heard of a fat overweight Friar, that wanders around, but few will admit to actually wanting to, or actually knowing me…but I accept that…and just continue on doing my work, quietly testing/tasting holy waters of all kinds for the benifit of all humanity. In a way, I’m just doing a sort of “Maintanence of way” job on the path of life. Holy water is sort of the “Lubricant” for a smooth passage through life.

Is that your best goad, Ralph? My railroad is a new age company and therefore requires no real maintenance to speak of.

Would a well car be considered MOW?
