Moorings Campground in Belfast ME. Found it last year and we were all “yep, we’re coming back” even before we had checked in. We’re staying here twice this year. Now and again at the end of August.
For all you RV guys; I am looking for opinions on Travel Weather apps for Android.
We will be towing our camper from PA to Nebraska, then Denver in mid summer. I’d like to be informed of bad weather / high winds along our route.
I have briefly auditioned the free version of Drive Weather. I’ll upgrade to the Pro version if I decide on that one.
How about Highway Weather or Weather & Radar. I need Android Auto support and customizable routes are important. Direct import from Google Maps is a plus, but export to Google (supported by Drive Weather) would work as well.
Any good ones (Android) that I missed?
You should post it on the white board stuck to the fridge!
As a truck driver, the one that I have used for a long time is Weather Bug, to get specific with it you need to enter cities along the way but so far it gave me all the warnings and information I needed
Shout out to BD for recommending T-Mobile Home Internet. We have brought it with us on every camping trip and it has worked flawlessly to give us high speed Internet on the go. We pair it with a Fire TV stick and a YouTube TV subscription to get our local TV channels wherever we are.
I settled on the Drive Weather app for a couple of reasons. The deciding factor was Android Auto support. It’s great to have the live weather all along our travel route.
Yay! It works really well for us, too. Don’t have to set up a new wifi at every campground, and it just works well.
We just got RV Weather. Talked to the guy that wrote it at a show for a while and it’s really neat. He uses weather data and predictions to route around storms.
