Have you finished anything yet?(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

I know… I know.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

It’s deja vu all over again.

Um finished? define finished. Finished is a vague concept to me.

My sister sez; When the fork comes out clean, you’re done!

I ran screaming ‘I don’t need to know!’

Devon we are in this together, and we are pulling for you. Now get to work! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I do appreciate the support. It does add the right sort of positive pressure to get things done. It adds to the “wanting to get it done to show off” factor.

Devon, to tell the truth, I need to light a fire under my behind, if I am going to get my projects done in a timely fashion. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

I keep saying that someday I am going to join Procrastinator’s Anonymous. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

But why put off till tomorrow, what I can put off till the day after tomorrow? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Its amazing how much more housecleaning gets done in the ten minutes before someone comes to visit than gets done in the whole week before.

Steve, that is true. I also find when I am procrastinating on a job I really do not want to do, a lot of other things get done.

I excel at putting things off

Yah I used to be an amateur, but now I’m a professional Crastinator!

Lets see It’s Monday and Devon hopefully is out working on his layout since he’s on vacation.

I do hope Steve did a good talking to him this weekend!

Well it is Monday and I am on vacation but I slept in. It’s 7:20 so time to get up. Pictures tonight

Pictures of what, you sleeping? Have pity, some things can never be unseen, even with eye bleach.

Slept in? Oh the tragedy, the lost opportunities, the shame of it all.

Yea, I did some extra sleeping this past weekend too.

Youth is so wasted on the young!

John, I never understood that statement, until recently. The first time one of them little girls gave me a senior discount at Dunkin Donuts, I was actually a bit insulted. Now I just smile.

OK It’s Tuesday and no pics yet!

Hmm is he still sleeping?

I’m seeing a pattern … Sleep … no work …

LOL Sean. I keep telling him that time is ticking away. Before he will realize it, it will be late summer, then fall, then the snow will be on the ground.

Well while you guys are sitting on your butts doing nothing but tearing me apart for doing nothing, I was busy doing something. The weather has been crappy. Lots of rain. But I worked between storms and got quite a bit done. Here is the starting point.

This is the west side of my house, the backyard, and the patio will extend from the existing slab southward to the layout at the side yard. I had to make sure the septic tank lid wasn’t going to end up under a slab. So I dug it up to locate it. I will drop that 24"dia PVC sewer pipe over it and put a concrete lid on top and bury it 6"deep.

Yesterday and today I shoveled the dirt down under the arbor about 6" deep. I then formed it up and brought up about 2" of base rock. The pad will be 4" about .8 yards. I unloaded 2000# of gravel for the base and to mix in the cement.

I am hoping to pour on the weekend. Our weather is calling for mix rain and overcast. The weekend might be promising. I will get some plastic to cover it in case of rain. I need to haul in more sand gravel over the next two days as well as dig the rest of the dirt.

Devin, I am not just sitting on my behind. I managed to dig out part of the old compost pile. I mixed that with some dirt (read native clay) that I had in another pile, and filled in several low spots in my yard. I also built up the sides of my one fill, so maybe the ballast won’t wash away from the track as much, and I started to fill in the low area where Fair Haven will be.

Yesterday I worked a 10.5 hour day, and today I had to go out after work and get a new monitor, so I could read your comments about my butt sitting. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Lol OK you get a pass

Atta boy Devon Progress!!! (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

The rain will keep the dust down to a working level.

Hmm wait a minute, with all that work I bet he’s sleeping in again (Can’t move)

What??? No rebar?

Hey I took a nice long nap for you, you’re welcome(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Ready for a fresh start today!

John
