I see Amtrak “heritage” cars
Nice work Rooster. Personal observation, I see the concern on the mods, but I’d stay the way you have it in the above photo, all lines considered.
You got me fired up again. I tore into the Genesis to add sound and control. Man! There’s a lot of lighting conversion work inside. Urrrggg. Maybe next year.

Kitbashed ones and not getting technical , only going for the general look. Nice to have someone else trying to understand what I’m doing other than me.
I talk to myself a lot about trying to model Amtrak in this scale !

Another nice upgrade Rooster.
Even though you waste a disparate amount of time doing diesel era models I must admit you do really fine work! Nice going sir.
But what else is there to waste time on?
I’m trying to get an answer on how many cars 1 LGB Genesis will pull? Mine seems to slip a lot and not have much traction on stainless track. Maybe the tires are dry??

Watching double rainbows
Great work! (even for diesels) I don’t get to see them much Amtrak around here passes by about 330am at 60mph. Sorta like that silver blur you posted.
Terry
Is that car with the door (baggage?) an Aristo pass car converted? I have a couple of those if it is, last car in the train that’s showing halfway.
or who makes it?
Looks like I have two scales, no three scales of Amtrak going now.
Joe …LGB had a limited run on Superliners back in the day.
Wow…
Got to say… that’s some fine work there… Proud of ya. Really like what you did with the baggage car.
Did they have roll up doors or is that a quick way out for a Rooster?
Sorry… had to say that… laf. Just envious " I don’t have one."
