Building and Bashing Amtrak Equipment

Rooster, your Amtrak rolling stock is excellent!

In your video, onward from about time stamp :027, Amtrak road railers are shown.
Do you have the Aristo-Craft Amtrak Road Railers?
That reminded me that I have one. The trailer tires were known for splitting over time. I have not looked at mine in many years to see it that happened.

Below is an old picture.

Thank you Ted!

Unfortunately I do not have any of the Aristo RoadRailers. I passed on them spending allotted RR money on other things at the time they were available. Hind site is always 20/20 right? I do plan on adding them to my Amtrash arsenal as it would only make for a proper consist of the era I like to model. If you are interested in unloading the one you have I’m interested in purchasing it for a reasonable price just PM me.

Working on another bash as well along with the viewliner baggage scratchbuild.

I’ve always loved that …

Mine will only sing " I’m a lumberjack and I’m OK "

Will not sing when phone of camera is present ….

Back to the top so…" I can stay on the original posters topic "…after re-reading the thread as recommended .

This post has been edited by ROOSTER : Forgot… I was the original poster but you can always visit MY webpage for the real details. WAIT…I don’t have one of them either so I guess you will just have to continue watching postings on LSC.

Lines are CRITICAL!

And after lying motionless, the rooster all of a sudden wakes up and attacks… .yep that is a real rooster.

Ooh, that hurts!

Rooster, I really like the viewliner baggage car, and I look forward to the finished product. What scale are you making it in, and what trucks are you using?

Did finally finish the other 2 viewliner sleepers minus the phase IV b stripe that is needed. Super detail can come later on the cars.

Bump for post count

Nice work, as always!

Although I’m betting that your track is a LOT smoother than the track we took riding the Crescent to New Orleans.

I have always interpreted this topic “Building and Bashing Amtrak Equipment” as “Rooster builds Amtrak, LSC bashes Rooster” (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Thank you Bruce! …My track work/roadbed sucks but I’m still thinking/learning(learned a LOT) and still thinking! More focused on finishing the Amtrash fleet first. It will be roundy round operations with photographic operations in mind.
