Building a intermodal container?

Finally got a bit of time to build, paint, letter and put it all on the RR to make a quick video of my new container train. The containers are pretty basic boxes made out of masonite and riding on flat cars usually used to haul logs. I probably should have removed the stakes for this new load.
They are not too fancy but do pass the 5 foot rule and are good enough for me. I might build 2 more.

well, for me the link started a whole series of videos.
i just can’t decide, what i like more. the trains or the music

The music Korm is great and it just seems to go with trains putting around the yard.

I tried ot imbed the video but it didn’t work again.

I went to youtubestarted video playing then clicked on “share” then copied the URl that popped up underneath, I also tried the one at the top and that didn’t work either. I then put [youtube] at the begining and end of the URL made sure there were no spaces and then came here to paste it onto my message. Just how do you imbed a video here?

Todd

It’s really very easy to embed a video from YouTube.

Use this format…[ youtube ]xxx[ /youtube ] Just don’t use spaces before or after the brackets as I did to show you the format. One other thing, it’s best to copy the SHARE address, as it doesn’t have a lot of unneeded gobbledygook! Don’t forget to use [ /youtube ] at the end of the URL, not just [ youtube ].

The easiest way is to hit the quote button on my post and examine what comes up. I took from the “Share” feature on youtube, as well.

My last post “I then put at the beginning and end of the URL” put what?? It was supposed to read
"I then put [ youtube ] at the beginning and end of the URL. no spaces DOH

I think that must be the problem I didn’t use the “/” at the end just [youtube]

Thanks guys I will get the hang of it eventually.

just… I guess we can’t type [ youtube ] without the spaces since the server is picking it up as something else. The great disappeaaring act.

Todd

Todd,

You will get the hang of it (sooner or later).
