What do you use to cut steel and aluminum? Chop saw? Metal band saw? I’ve been using a cutoff wheel on a 4 1/2 inch grinder. Kind of a pain and not really accurate.

I have built some stuff using a cutoff wheel as well and have no trouble holding 1/32 accuracy after clean up. I always cut a bit long and clean/square using a standard 4 1/2 angle grinder.

I have a band saw for the steel with a 12" by 8" capacity.
For the Alum… I have a Fine tooth blade on a combine miter saw. Be carefully cause you can shoot a part 30 ft from you easly.
