Hi, for the old electronics and ham stuff, are you throwing away tubes, sockets and power transformers? I’m another ham that works on boat anchors, and am always on the lookout for parts. Ham radio is my other hobby, besides model trains. I have a bit of everything up to a couple 3.5 in gauge live steamers, aristo ls mike, and a Ruby.
Nope - I’ve not had any tube based radios (except finals) in a long, long time. I tossed lots of PC era circuit boards and PC power supplies I was hording as parts sources and a lot of used coax - but nothing worth shipping to Vegas (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)
I did find a new home for a set of thee 80’s vintage GE FM mobile radios that have been un-touched for 18 years and just today sold a set of drums I’ve been advertising on and off for 4 years. Now if I can just get my nephew to come pick a recliner I will have enough room to pull out the built-in liquor cabinet that is in the way of my indoor expansion plans.
