Yuppers… Front comes thru Wednesday… Finally get some temps below 85 degrees… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Looking forward to something other than “being in the skillet”.

But at the end, you are always well done… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I have to offer my great regrets to Andy and Jane. I'm dealing with contractors' delays up here and I'll never make it down on time.   I have been looking forward to this weekend, but as winter nears this other stuff has to come first, darn...

Have a great time, everyone.  I'll be missing you!    Cheers, - John.

One day and a wake up. Our weather front came through yesterday and we are waking up to 50 degrees in Carlyle. Nice to have cooler temps. Spoke with Doug and his mother’s birthday is this weekend, plus he questions his ability to drive the distance alone. So with John announcing his regrets, I believe our chance of this being an “International Event” is down the tubes.

We will suffer through.

Looking forward to a great weekend. If they aren’t great, they are at least always interesting.

Stay tuned.

49 for a high on Friday, 55 for a high on Sat & Sun… Chance of showers Fri aftn/eve and again on Sun…

Good Lord willing !

Car is packed … leaving OKC Friday late morning for Jefferson City, MO. Will be attending the narrow gauge meet in Jeff City all day Saturday. We plan on getting on the road early Sunday morning and should be in Nashville by noon. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Well the weekend is here. The sun rose over Carlyle with a blazing red sky. Maybe a warning, maybe not. Have heard a number of people are in the Nashville area, already and we’ll drive the 28 miles south, right after lunch. I’m batching it for the first 24 as Jan is off to a Keith Urban concert with our daughter and granddaughter this evening in Peoria and will join us tomorrow. Looks like a great weekend! There will probably be pictures, but they may not appear until this time next week. You know, ya got to finish off the roll of film, take them to get developed, sort through the bad ones, get them scanned on to the “confuser”, figure out how to post on LSC. It all takes time.

Ric;

Before anyone jumps on you…where in hell are you getting “Role film” these days, and where do you get it processed ?

Everyone else has gone digital, as far as I know…or are you trying to stretch a whole bunch of legs, in order to make a few people look taller !!..?

You never mentioned anything about moving your dark room to the new home, or anything about the 1000 rolls of film you packed away 15-20 years ago…

Fred, I’m pretty sure Ric’s tongue is firmly implanted in his cheek.

Could this be Ric and Jan 24 hours from now?

Faces have been modified to protect the innocent.

Editing to note the Honey Brown !

I didn’t know it was going to be that kind of party! I’ll pick Ric up some Old Milwaukee and it looks like Jan prefers her Makers Mark. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Andy, I learned to read one of them there calendars. I’ll be there tomorrow. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Matt and All,

Consider the source. Look who posted those pictures. Nothing else needs to be said. Jim and Sue, Bruce and jean, Ken, Mark Godwin and myself all invaded the Clarke’s Homestead yesterday afternoon. Rain and drizzle kept us from getting trains out. Cloudy this AM, but forecast looks good. Jan will join us later today after she recovers from the Keith Urban Concert, last night. And the sage continues.

I WANT PICTURES , AND I WANT THEM NOW!!! to quote that famous TV person Cptn Sig Hansen from the show " Deadliest Catch" edited to delete " salty language" more commonly refered as f bombs. Anyway Ric, Matt , post them pictures asap please

For a price;

The IPP&W can offer the services of our company video/photographer, to properly cover these BS RR events. He does our weekly blog , and often brings along another fellow who helps with the video.

Mike Hamer, and Malcolm Vant will give you a quote for their services.

Andy has a railroad to be proud of; proud enough to properly record his operations…
