Do I Need a Leaf blower or what?
I ran trains last weekend, this was dumped this week. Todd, if you really would like to test it out under severe conditions, Boy do I have the place.
What you need is a match!
Dave you need more than a little train blower with that big pile. Trouble is I tried the blower car when I had piles of leaves like yours and there was just too many. The leaves would blow offt the immediate track but not far enough and they would fall back in and get sucked into the blower hence the need for the cage.
My layout looked like yours today and I got the backpack blower out and it was running very poorly so I got to fixin it and NEVER DID RUN A TRAIN 
This is my least favorite time of year, the leaves making a mess and the sun down by 4:30. There is always RR projects right.
