Yeah, would think Anaheim would survive… and maybe Del Mar was out only this year until they figure things out… There will be the GTE in N. California… too far…

When\where it the Palos Verdes show? I live close to there.
I found the Palos Verdes Show - this is what they posted on their web site:
South Coast Botanic Garden Hi Dave! The Annual Model Train Show is tentatively scheduled in October on the 25th - 26th. There is always the possibility that something changes but we, here at the Garden look forward to it every year as well!
As far as the other So Cal Trains Shows go, I sent an email to trainshows.com asking which shows they would be having in 2015 and this was the reply:
Unfortunately, not this next season.
I expect we will be there in 2016 though so keep watching our schedule at wghshow.com.
Thanks for the interest!
I do not like the direction this is headed, but no one can say they do not see it coming.
I got another email today from Trainshow.com:
Yes, we will be returning to Anaheim.
We are also looking at Pomona and Costa Mesa as possibilities for future shows. It would be great if there were more facilities (affordable) in Southern California to choose from.

I’m a little confused, if I am reading this correctly does that mean no Anahiem show till 2016??? or that while Anahiem is still on in 2015, just no new VENUES like Pomona or Costa Mesa until 2016?
It wasn’t clear to me either if there was going to be a show in Anaheim in 2015 or not. I guess we will just wait and see. I just posted what they sent me.
I find it unbelievable that SoCal cant have a nice big train show (if even all scales) like they do back east. Vender support out here is almost non existent compared to back east shows. I cant even fiond a good hobby shop out here anymore.
I did a little research to see how much it would cost to put on a show and at Costa Mesa the main building that has concessions was about $4000.00 a day, plus they nickle and dime you to death with things like ticket takers, ticket sellers, security, electricity, wifi etc.
FYI Great Train Show has posted a tenative date for the Anaheim show, so it looks like its a go.
1/10-11/15 tentative date

Just noticed Del Mar, Ca is back, but in February, 2/14-15/15
