Mr Hudson = four posts in two years, in spite of being POSH [?] and possessing vast collections of 5" live steam et al.

Oh, dear.
Maybe they give him a pass every six months and he finds an internet cafe?
Dave - my thortz prezackly.
BTW, there is no such person listed in the G1MRA membership, and the only way you can obtain the newsletter is through membership. Of course, being charitable, it might be a nom de plume or whatever, but the syntax and spelling is that of a precocious eight-year old, rather than the ‘POSH’ owner of a formidable collection of 5" gauge American live steam. And yes, I also checked with the Cambridge Society of Model Engineers - they have no knowledge of this person.
I’m not going to waste any more electrons on the matter - I have the answer from the guy who owns the business, and that’s all I need.

I read with interest the members comments on
Bachmann out of Europe
. I cannot comment on the article seen in the Gauge One magazine as I have not seen it myself. I subscribe to many US Forums, I cannot find the time to read too many websites so I cut my cloth accordingly. Like many people, I read, but do not comment often. I feel bound to subscribe now , please do not hold my 1 post against me.
Before travelling to the Garden Railway Convention in Denver, my wife and I had a most enjoyable day at one of Mr Brent Hudsons 5” gauge Open Days near Cambridge, England. It really is an impressive
layout`. Members of the GL5 Society bring their locos from all over the UK for the 3 day event. The locos are quite magnificent.
One does not have to be a member of a society to read mags loaned to you. Whether the rumours of Bachmann UK are true, I do not know. I only know that if one needs Aristo spares, I do not bother contacting Bachmann UK, I go direct to NJ. Life is too short. I might add I was somewhat disappointed by the small display by Bachmann and Aristo in Denver compared to the previous year.
Why have I decided to comment? Not to receive unworthy comments like I have read above. Maybe just to bring an end to the affair. As one said, enough electrons have been wasted.
Mr Foley, maybe you could take the short drive to Cambridge to see for yourself Mr Hudsons railway but after the above comments, maybe not a good idea.
