Bachmann Trains New Grizzly Flats 2-6-0/Coaches

They are on eBay now. They are pretty proud of them. Gold Coast has the loco only listed.

I hate to ask but I wonder what their cost is now???
Ken

Have no idea how to post a pic.

Engine 600+

Coaches 80+

I think you have to post your photos on a host website like Post Image or Photo bucket and then copy their direct link and paste that link in the reply?? I hope I am right. If you see my photo here and it worked, that’s how I did it. If not ask the webmaster.
Hope that helps! Ken

That worked but I think there is another way to post direct also, guess I just don’t know how to do that. It’s much easier on the actual original posting. Maybe some one else knows as I haven’t done it before on a reply??? Ken

$80 for a Bachmann coach is a bit rich for my blood.

Nice! Joe, how do you post photos on reply? Ken

This may help…

I think she is pretty. But she isn’t a working girl.

I mean, a locomotive that works to earn its keep, tends to be a lot dirtier than that.

In the 1870s and 1880s the locomotive crew took great pride in keeping their locomotive spotless and shiny. I understand that part of the reason management went to all black locomotives was in part to reduce the amount of time the crew took in maintaining their locomotives.

For example the Glenbrook, while painted in a passenger livery, spent its entire days hauling lumber and pulp wood up the grade from Lake Tahoe to the flumes at the top.

Bachmann took its video of the 2-6-0 on our railway Thought you might like it.

Stan

Stan I know that crews did maintain them gems back in the day. But even with care, a working girl will get a little wear and grime on her. Especially on the running gear and them white walls.

That is a nice looking engine. If it was at an affordable price I would jump on one. I wonder if it will go down on price like the Forney. The Forney was over $600 and now can be found for under $300.

Sean, its possible, but when I wait too long, the version I want isn’t available.

I like the gal, but my engine shed is already at or past capacity.
