I solved my Heavyweight derailing problem by grinding off the flange on the center axle wheels. This turned the 3 axle truck into a 2 axle truck, you get the 3 axle look with the 2 axle performance. I’ve had no more problems since doing the fix.

Do you use unaltered A-C couplers?
Do you set out cars by backing or pushing them through a switch into station siding?

I can slowly negotiate R-1 turnouts pushing or pulling. Couplers are stock.
