Another useless post from Rooster

Not Amtrak!!

I’ve kind of lost track of where we left off……

Amtrak GP-38-2 in Sanford Florida used to spot cars for the Auto Train. Amtraks longest passenger train , and Amtraks ONLY non stop train ,it does make a stop for engineer swap , but it’s not a station stop , no passengers on , but recently they had police there to remove a drunk and disorderly passenger

The big question: Where is the Rooster???

roo3

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW:
Whatever happened to that rooster?

Never heard of the guy myself.
:rooster:

The ghost of Boomer , asks where is Rooster? That’s funny !!
Boomer , what’s up dude?!!!

Imagine ol’ rooster at the throttle of this beast……

Rumor has it, he will surface soon

Concerning the Aero Train. Reports from back-in-the-day say the ride got extremely rough at speeds over 60mph. The coaches were bus bodies and the air suspension caused them to bounce a lot at speeds over 60mph; those bodies were just too light for railroad use. Instead of a bounce castle, one could just take the Aero Train!

i’m not quite sure, but i’ve seen a north-american expat down here, that somewhat likens the description of the missing poultry:

a doorstopper in a hotel that is equipped with antiques.

Rooster is everywhere……

Ghost rooster… love that idea. Made me search.

$136 at Walmart….

A steal, I tell ya, cheaper than an LGB boxcar!

Following up on Ghost Rooster, here’s what ChatGPT just came up with. Not bad art for 15 seconds.

Ooh, I’m gettin my Bill game on! I asked ChatGPT, “Show an image of a Rooster in Lord of the Rings armor” (because Dave Meashey’s such a fan, and I confess I’m one also). Result:

They even made room in the helmet for the comb! It’s asking to be sliced off by an orc, but daaaang…

Cliff;

Judging from the tree on the rooster’s breastplate, I’d say that he must be fighting for Gondor! Aragorn’s banner had a similar tree.

Best, David Meashey

You know how they sort of try to dress up whatever locos for a “Thomas Day”?

I got a better idea…

Or this. You’d have to put cameras in the eyeballs & dark spaces for the crew, but hey it’s just a working concept at this point.

On most Amtrak routes, wind resistance shouldn’t be a an issue, just design the props for 10mph and you’re good.
