You are wasting my time Bill and time is precious these days for me.
Big mistake with both Fred and Rooster, Bill they don’t carry a coffee cup it has to be a beer bottle
Of course, that reminds me of…
and,

and… well, I’ll draw the like at the crapping Shrek dispenser, which seems to be the rage…
Wow…
Yeah, needs to be Amtrak…
Well,
So far, ChatGPT has been quite confident in saying that it can produce the action figure STL from the concept it provided.
Having produced a figure that it said it could convert into an STL format over night it has come up with this… sigh.
I think however ChatGPT might be channeling Rooster through his famous lines, as the STL gives off the vibe that ChatGPT “Never met him” and “doesn’t know the guy personally”.
On the other hand… I do recall seeing a video of his railway with a carriage carrying what I thought were just pens… hmmm.
Bill, That’s his marker crew. Bunch of old guys who don’t work anymore just enjoying the hot tub car they cannibalized back in the day in the hood.
Ha! I I thought they were there to Highlight the trip!
Bill, I was going to check it out, but the link isn’t doing anything…
Cliff, that link is now broken. However the STL looked like a simple capsule body with a gumball head. The next iteration as shown above was after, I believe, 60-90 minutes of chatGPT pondering the assignment.
Of historical interest, when I was laying shingles on the engine house, I wanted to lay out the lines 1 5/32 inches apart, but didn’t want to do the math to find where those incremental distances on the ruler were, and ChatGPT gave me every way but that (e.g. the 14th shingle should be placed 442/32 inches from the start of the roof). So after several attempts I asked ChatGPT what prompt I should have provided instead and got a reply. I then used that prompt and Lo and Behold I got what I wanted.
In keeping with the thought that a genie will give you what you ask for, but not necessarily what you want, yesterday I asked ChatGPT what prompt I should use to get the STL I wanted… and it did… and it is still working on it half a day later. It has updated me and asked more questions like “do you want to position the arms or make this one piece?” and “do you want to print the coffee cup separately or attached?”
I’m kind of excited.
Super cool!
It looks like there are a number of YT vids on using AI to generate 3D printable models, but I think you’re on the cutting edge!
