I have an electric version in brunswick green , I have yet to see it run because my layout is not completed and the way it looks it never will be , But the K4 is a lovely shelf queen .
Harold: Can you take it to a friends layout??? Or run it on rollers?? You’ll love seeing the movement of the rods, the lighting and sound if it has it.
I have mine on shelves in my office so I can enjoy them as ‘eye candy’ when they aren’t pulling a string of passenger or freight cars.
Other suggestions to help us enjoy our trains please. nick jr

Nicky owns and services what some others don’t.
Nick, VERY TRUE, and some of us get great pleasure modifying our trains also.
is in the testing phase, loco will only run 15 min on a boiler full of water, gas will last over 45 minutes
http://youtu.be/sf865g9FlrI[/youtube/ and finally complete, water bottle and pump installed in Drovers Caboose will keep the loco running till out of gas, and still have a full boiler.
OR, had the most fun with this

learned 2 things, quick quote AND posting videos.
AND if I may add one more thing: the Utube will also lead to other videos posted there from the same person who posted the one in the article, if ‘article’ is the right word and other associated STUFF.
Update, my site does indeed have detailed pages on the K4, disassembly, maintenance, DCC conversion, etc.
If you have need of this information, contact me directly.
The public viewing has been removed due to one jerk in Arkansas.
