I love the ferns as well.
That finished up very well. It should unflinchingly span the gap for years to come. No substitute for good tight fasteners. I think you’ve given lots of people some ideas with this project.
Yes Dave, I was amazed by that with my first bridge build. The structure of my first bridge seamed very flimsy, and I was quite discouraged but I pressed on. As more and more was added to the thing it got stiffer and stiffer, until, when it was done, I could run a Pacific across it and it didn’t flex at all. I guess them old bridge builders knew what they were doing, because all I did was copy their plans.
