#50 to the rescue

Good ole No50 had to come to the rescue of the inaugural excursion run. First run of the newly shopped passenger coaches came to a halt after multiple derailments of the Anniversary 4-6-0 pilot truck. They proved no problem for the little loco.

Thank you for sharing, Dennis

The LGB #50 Diesel is one little great engine, I have two of them, one new in the box and one I re-painted and installed Rail Pro. It is a great runner and with Rail Pro it will creep along very slow, it is also battery power and no track power. Here is a pic of the engine.

I have a #50 as well, nifty little engine.

What passenger cars are those?

Pete,

According to DT they are they newly shopped passenger cars !

The cars are lengthened LGB bodies with Aristocraft Sierra passenger car roofs.

Pics of Rail Pro installed in the #50. All under the hood, but I did put the battery in the cab just for convience, but it would go under the hood if need be. I did cut out the grill of the #50 with my Dremel and a file so the speaker would play out the front, worked out great for me.
