Well, I did it ! December 30th 2020 and I finished before the 2021 Challenge starts…without much room to spare, but nevertheless !

Here’s the proof, er, pictures. The first few show the disaster I had left over from the beginning of the year, then the pictures show how I resurfaced the entire brickwork and built a staircase, then I submit a set of final pictures of the tower, then the tower and barracks together, then wilth lights. About the only thing still missing is corbels on the tower, but I’d have to have someone with a laser cutter to lend a hand so I could come close to the original, so that’ll have to wait for now. I hope you don’t mind the abundance of pictures.

Thanks Bruce. I don’t know where I got this stuff or what it’s supposed to be in real life, it’s some kind of plastic mesh, but send me your address and I’ll send you a few sheets of it. I picked up enough from wherever I got it to last many modelling lives!
