Looking forward to the Timesaver!
I need to git my stuff boxed up for the drag and brag swap table. I have my hotel reservations and I am gathering up my scrap metal to take to the local scrap metal dealer. In the past my scrap metal paid for the hotel. Now it just pays for one night. My coin jar used to pay for the gas to drive there, now it doesn’t quite cover all of it. But I don’t need to load up the Jeep to the roof with trains anyway, so I don’t need to scrape together every last penny I can…I have no room to sore too much more stuff in my house and shed anyhow.
Just confirmed my reservation. Now to get organized. Ive been setting stuff aside all year to bring to sell/give away. I just need to find all the places I put it all.

Well gents. I was going to go to the show but 3 weeks ago I fell onto a concrete floor and did some damage to my right side. I still have some lingering pain issues from the fall so I am going to be staying home this year. If any one is interested in a NIB Pennsy PA-1/PB-1 for $275 please contact me. I can probably get it delivered to the show. Also I have a Pennnsy Heavyweight for someone whose name I can’t remember. Please reach out to me and I can probably get that down to you as well.

Barry Birkett by way of Belleville, Ontario asked if I would post this on the 2015 ECLSTS forum.
Barry has been unable to find someone who would like to travel to York with him for the East Coast Large Scale Train Show. Barry plan was to drive from Belleville Thursday morning (March 26th) and return on the Saturday (March 28th). Barry could take up to four others or join a group going down and would be happy to share a room with someone else.
If any one from Ottawa is looking to share a ride and the gas money maybe you could contact Barry and hookup around Gananoque.

Tell Barry to Contact Fred Mills in Ottawa. He’s hitching a ride to York with John LeF, and there should be some others from the Ottawa area going. Paul Norton, Doug Metheson, Stu Moxley and maybe some others.

The show certainly won’t be the same without you. Meals in the bar at the hotel either… So sorry you’re not going to be there…
I forgot to mention, if you’re coming to town Thursday and would like to hang out at my RR just message me for directions. I plan to be around all day Thursday and likely Sunday as well if you’re hanging around after the show.

Looks like I will be going down for the day Friday. My wife has no more days to take from work and we had a few unexpected expenses recently with the house. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the timesaver.
Barry will have trouble finding anyone that is interested in his time frame…I’m going with John Leforestier because we want to meet people on the way down, then spend both full days at the show, then head off and visit with others, possibly in Cape Cod…I hear tell that Max Sarizin will treat me to oysters on the half shell if we drop by his place In Cape Cod…
This would put us looking for our return home falling on Tuesday…We also want to stay at the Wyndham, where the action is…
Barry is kind enough to offer the ride, but it doesn’t fit in with our plans. I hope he can find someone.
