that looks great. Really like the way the dock roof came out. adds a nice bit of age to the building.

I need to experiment on how to get some reasonable staining on the concrete, too.

Just leave it outside for awhile.... ;)

Will it have the same name as the prototype?

It looks VERY nice.

Bob,
Very impressive building.

what they said… beautiful…

Thanks guys. It’s still not ‘done’, I guess. Still some door details and bay numbers, building signs, a few other odds and ends. But is anything ever really done?

This has been a fun project. Got to work on something large with the PVC board. The tower I built was PVC, but tiny compared to this. The board is pretty neat to use, I’m glad Jon Radder got the idea stuck in my head with those small scraps he had.

Bob?? by PVC board, do you mean ““Sintra””?? or is it something else???

Yea, Sintra is a brand name. There’s also “Komatex”, and a couple others, but its all the same stuff. Some of the neat properties is that you can bend it with a heat gun, or immersion in hot water for about 15 seconds. It glues up with normal, cheap, plumbing PVC cement, no fancy glues or anything. Cuts easily with a utility knife, sands easily.

ok, thanks…

Sign font test.

Very nice Bob. Glad I could inspire you - cause you guys inspire me every day

In my shop, Sintra is similar to other PVC board, but has a glossy finish and comes with a protective sheet. Our regular PVC board has more of stippled finish. We buy from several sources and each source carries a different brand name. You can’t tell most of then apart.

Hey you took out my …Test?

Son, you didn’t want it there anyway, you flunked…
