I’d rather see a 1/32nd scale model ! Especially as Accucraft is producing streamline coaches at a reasonable price.
Allegedly.
I put MY order in for a set of the CPR cars and a couple of spares the moment they were announced.
A year or more later, and there is still no word…
Ask Mr Cheng about THEM.

Tac,
I will ask. According to Dr Rivet over on MLS, “and cars will be on display at DH” along with the N&W 611.
Of course, ‘on display’ doesn’t mean they will ship you some any time soon.
Well, I had a meaningful few minutes with the N&W 611 at the Llanfair Show last September - it is now January - four months later, and…
You’re still discussing THE 611.
As in the ONE and ONLY.
Same goes for the Selkirk, too. But at least that was seen across the width of the CPR, and not just in the East.
And in case you are wondering - given the $$$ I’d happily have both.

Do you think I can fit servos and R/C into it?
That little loco is just SOOO darn cute! I have it in H0, made by Rivarossi back in the late 1960’s - same number, too.
My granddaughter calls it Fred 96.
If you look on Youtube you’ll see a guy with and indoor layout - it has full r/c.

Martin,
Do you actually have one, or is this a ‘wish list’ item ? I know they were available a couple of years ago, but they are not shown in the Accucraft eStore or elsewhere online as ‘available’.
The good news is that I found a thread showing how Jason fitted r/c to one:
Bachmann Emily is pretty much 1/25 scale.
It’s a wish list thing. But at least it’s on the site again, perhaps they will make more one day.
Thanks for the link tho, that’s pretty neat how he got all that in there. My widgets are about R/C RX size so they should fit. Sweet.
They need to make something other than the 0-6-0s and 0-4-0s. Maybe a 4-6-0 would be nice. Later RJD

There are a bunch of 1/32nd 4-6-0s being produced. WuHu/Bowande’s US rep, Bob Clark, wants to make “mid-sized” locos, so after the Casey Jones (currently available) they are doing a PRR G5
http://livesteamg1us.com/pennsy-g5.html I also asked Bob to think about a simpler, entry-level version, without all the complicated axle pumps, etc.
Jason is working on a PRR 4-4-2 E6 (?). And Accucraft is doing the SP M6 2-6-0.
I don’t see a problem pulling 1/29th trains with 1/32nd locos.
I do believe we where talking about 1/29th not 1/32. Not my scale. Later RJD
Well, a 1:29th scale locomotive could be “resized” with a new cab and some other detail modifications. Then it would just be a larger steamer in 1:32
Looks like Pete need not wait for buying his Dreyfuss he got his today at DH. BTW word has it they will now go into production. Later RJD

You mean this one?
Not clear they will ever go into production - certainly not for a year or two.
But I got chance to run it (see DH video thread.) Wooohooooooo . . . . .

I hear Bing, the boss of Accucraft, will be there. Hope he brings the Dreyfuss prototype so I can drool over it. Maybe I’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse . . .
Wow Pete, From now on if you say something, I will be taking it very seriously. Congrats on a beautiful new loco!
Oh my! Some people have dream cars, that is my dream locomotive.
Nice catch.
I am a narrow gauge guy but that is a beautiful engine! I helped Brittney steam it up at York two years ago…really neat!
Beautiful.

Yep great catch Pete. I sure would have liked to had it so count me as one of the few bugging Bing. Later RJD
