Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Happy thanksgiving to you and everyone else here on LSC, the best train site I have found!

As we count our blessings on these trying times and this Thanksgiving day, I consider ourselves lucky to still be able to enjoy this day without the usual compliment of family members and those lost to the pandemic.

May we continue to have a flourishing, mutually sharing and beneficial relationship here on LSC.

Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving and a joyful holiday season.

Michael

I am also thankful for the fine folks who share their knowledge here, and also help us to share a laugh during these difficult times. I am thankful for some of those folks who are no longer with us, but who helped and inspired us when they were still among us. Please enjoy your time with family and friends today, and offer thanks for what we do have despite the the difficulties of this pandemic.

As comedian Red Skelton used to say: “Good Night and God Bless,” David Meashey

Happy Day of Turkey!

Hau’oli la Ho’omaika’i!

But you do have to admit that was probably one of the better meals in the C-ration case…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Thanks, Ken. As I remember every Thanksgiving, going to the church service (I think there were 7 of us) and then to the Mess Hall. The Officers were the last to eat, and we had Rabbit. They had run out of Turkey.

P.S. I could always trade for all of the Ham & Lima Beans I could eat.
