Large Scale Central

The Tumathorp railroad

.

Hi all!
I’ve been building a small garden railroad in G scale for over a year now.
Today I was finally able to test a locomotive on the track.

It will be about 3.5 x 7 meters in a U-shape.

Nice! Brave soul having your first run be right next to a water feature!

gorgeous!!

Nice start Mikael, and welcome to the madness(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

nice.

what i most liked, was where the loco is mirrored in the water.

Congrats on your “golden spike” moment!

HUzzah!

Nicely done! Great start, no telling where it will go from here.

Thank you for sharing this exciting moment. Good luck as you continue with the project.

Very exciting, and I’m sure very satisfying. Do all 300 people in Tommarp know you are a model railroader?

By the way, this looks like a good candidate for next year’s Challenge!

Keep us up-to-date on your progress on the railroad.

I don’t know if all of them know, but surely most of them do.

It’s fascinating that you posted a pic of our church, as I’m the warden there and my wife is the priest (Lutheran Church of Sweden).
