      Water Tank

      tank close up

      spout

      tank with engine

Built the tank support lumber from ripped 1" x  6" PVC planks and gave them wood graining using a saw blade pulled over the surface. Tank is a 6" PVC pipe that I scored planking into using a dremel, water spout pipe for the tank was made from heated then drawn stretched CPVC pipe, bands from solid core copper wire, support cables are coat hanger with nuts glued on and the top is from a old bird feeder cut down. The weathervane is from Hobby Lobby and holds it all together, ladder is a Plastruct product. Fun project, and filled a void on the layout, Bill

Well done Bill, you always show us new places to look for materials fon our projects. And show us what they'll look like if we use them.
