2020 Mik Build Challenge Winners

AND THE WINNERS ARE

This years Challenge was at the top of entrants ever. And the saying that everyone is a winner sure comes into play this year. GREAT BUILDS all around, and if any one of them would like to contribute their build to me, I would be proud to place it on my pike. All of them!! Well maybe not Vic’s

The most prestigious annual award is presented in the honor of the build challenges founder,

Mik just Mik.

Is proudly presented to:

1st time for Lou, Keep the spirit alive!!

The voting for this years builds had 47 people casting votes, a record.

The top spot was a lopsided run away win.

The rest of the field had only a few points separating the next 4 places.

Each vote was assigned a value of:

4 points for 1st place vote

2 points for 2nd place vote

1 point for 3rd place vote

And the winners are:

And to no ones surprise,

And runaway winner of Mik 2020

The close runner-ups were: Devon’s Ice House, And Rick’s Bayside Station and My own Blacksmith shop… in that order.

Every entry garnered at least one vote, including Vic’s "Where the hell’s that Chimney at".

Congrats to all those that keep the Spirit of Mik alive.

Congrats to the winners and thanks to all others.

Great job everyone! Really fun to watch this year’s builds…

Congrats to all the winners and to everyone who participated. As a participant I thank all those who vote an pay attention to our craziness. I can not think of a better order than how this shook out. I thin this is the first year that I can say yep we got it 100% right. For radically different reasons I think each of the top spots deserve to be in the top spot.

Great job … to all !!!

Greg

Congratulations to all !

Congrats to the participants and the winners.

I personally want to thank everybody that voted for my model. I love a dead line that forces me

to hustle to get either done or to a spot that is close enough.

I want to thank all the other modelers that participated and making this a very challenging contest.

Most of all I want to thank the guys that organized this contest and made it roll so smoothly.

Dennis

Wow…the family is in a bit of shock out here. Thanks to all for your votes, and most especially thanks to Dave for running this event every year!

Was another great challenge. Thanks Dave for putting it on, thanks to those who made special prizes, thanks to all the participants for making it a challenge, and thanks to everyone who voted. Looking forward to next year.
