This is pretty interesting…UP posted a brief video about how they do wind tunnel testing on “G” scale trains, to find ways to improve efficiency on the full-size trains:

They used those a lot when they were testing designs for the Arrow Wedge containers.

Too bad they didn’t test this beauty, but then I guess it probably wouldn’t look nearly as cool.

UNP and NS are badass these days along with the management. I have been blown away at what NS has done with moving trains in the northeast efficiently. Both are well managed company’s and neat video !
