Ken Brunts Plow

I have heard Ken has a very neat plow that he built/bashed. I have never seen pictures of this said plow for one and for two Ken say’s that he doesn’t plow snow?

My questions are…

1…does this plow actually exist

2…is it purely a rumor

3…was it just built/bashed/purchased as a shelf queen?

If the latter applies then how does he know if it really plows snow because he say’s that he doesn’t plow snow and I’ve never know Ken to tell fibs?

Oh oh, a phantom plow, I have heard of these but never thought they actually existed.

Could this actually be one??

I am not sure Mr Marty this is why I inquired

I’m calling photoshop…even before a pic is posted. lol.

Maybe its driven by the invisible unicorns.

It’s a rumor…I’ll let you speculate.

and I’ll let ya’ll wonder about this too…

It’s actually the first car I ever scratch built. I saw the plans in Garden Railways and decided the RGS needed a plow. It has plowed snow and does a pretty good job. I have a set of plans for the prototype RGS plow, that I plan to build eventually, but I like this one better.

I would also like to build the rotary they had, too. Just haven’t gotten a roundtuit yet. Well, that’s a fib. I do have roundtuit in a kitchen drawer. What I don’t have is a solid plan on how I want to build it.

I’m not allergic to snow, I actually like snow, it’s the cold weather and the resultant mess and clean-up that comes with it that I don’t like…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Does that satisfy your curiosity, Mr. Russell?..(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Hmm … isn’t that a Russell plow?

I didn’t wanna mention that. Rooster might get a big head…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

How much bigger can it get? (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)

Best use of a deodorant container I have ever seen! How do you get it to stay where you put it? Every time I touch my pits with mine it jumps back into the bottle if I’m not holding the adjuster. Now I believe in unicorns…

I dunno, Randy, it just does. Could be it’s an older version. It’s hard to turn when opening it up. Might be because the knob is against the floor and the screw end is against the wall.

Seems it’s real Cousin Matt and that Mr Brunt has been fibbing that he has no passion to plow snow !

OK I am curious about the deodorant container’s purpose. Is it being used to extend the “wings”. If so how?

Yup that’s it. If you look at the transparent piece of plastic out on the screw thread, notice that it has a piece of brass wire coming up through each end. Those wires head down through the floor in those black painted slots and out to attach to the wings. When you adjust the transparent part towards the front of the plow it will pull the wings shut. When you adjust it towards the back it will push them open. Easy peasy, cost? nothing but a used deodorant container. Pretty slick if you ask me. It’s going on my list of thing to use some day.

Now he’s in the witness protection program … Rooster who ?

Randy got it right. It was one of those things you look at and think, is there a use for that? Then a light bulb goes off…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
