I picked up these two cars with a large MTH buy from a nice forum member here. Thanks Richard! Anyway, they were like new and pretty shiny. So I shot them with clear flat and used some Bragdon chalks on them. Little soft pencil on wear spots and put them out to run. MTH cars come with metal wheels and are set up on the bottom for Kadee 820’s, so pretty easy to get rolling. Heavy cars also, so no weight needed, like on the MDC cars I like. Got a piggyback also, but have not secured the trailer well to it yet.

Nice detail on the cars, doors open, as do the hatches.

Just saw this post Jerry. They look great. I can see why you like MTH. They produce good stuff, when they produce it! Looking forward to seeing the Southern in the spring again. Have a merry Christmas and New Year. I’m just in the middle of repainting structures.

how much do they weigh Jerry? just interested. They do look good.

Not sure Greg, but heavier than any other cars I’ve bought. Do come with metal wheels.
