Travis,

Your source code for the picture is incomplete. img src=" 100_8963.JPG" alt="" is not a valid url address.

Open the pic in the shed to full size, right click and save image location. Drop that into the top line of box the mountain/moon icon opens.

Don’t use the thumbnail…

Very nice Travis, Glad you figured out the picture posting. What wood are you using? How many are you making?

I’m glad you figured posting pictures out too. That logging car looks really good! Nice work on both counts. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Yes Tavis looks great

Dennis

The cars are made from cedar. I built as the plans from Garden Railways called for using escutcheon pins for the “bolts”. I believe it would look even better with actual bolt castings or nuts and bolts… I am currently building at least 8 more cars. I have almost four of them done so far… These are a lot of fun to build as they are pretty simple to construct. After I finish these I am going to go onto another car from the Ted Stinson Plans.

Thanks for the help for posting pics guys…

If your leaving them clear/natural then yes but if your painting them then no …just my opinion.

Car looks good!

Very nice Travis. How are you bending the brass hold downs? I have a bunch of similar cars 1/2 built. I got stuck on not being able to get a clean looking bend for this part and ended up shelving the project.

Very nicely done. The cars are going to make some loggers mighty happy. Strong too…like the shot with the felled trees on it.

Doc Tom

I’ve built about 8 of those and they are simple to build. I use link and pin couplers on mine except for the 2 on each end. They have KD’s on one end.

Nice work Travis (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
