Large Scale Central

Jersey Central Caboose

A while back I posted to see anyone had a CNJ Caboose to trade for a New York Central.

There were no takers, so off to the paint shop she went. Here’s the results:

Rustoleum shake can and dry transfers from C-D-S from a few years ago.

I’m pretty happy with the results. I’ll show it with the Central Jersey NW-2 when I get to posting photos in “My Engines” thread.

Nice job there Lou!

One thing that bothered me about the USAT Center Cupola Caboose was the fact that the “Brakeman” was put right between the 2 windows. I moved him back because I felt the seats should be next to the cupola side windows.

Looks good Lou!

Pretty sharp Lou!

Very, very nicely done, Lou… It looks great…

Very nice.

You might want to put some heavy screen over that window. I remember when brakemen became a rock thrower’s target in urban settings ‘back East’…

I replaced my crew with a new one!

I always wondered how to drive a train…now I see…it is totally clear!

You sit in the caboose with the remote! Well done Sean!!!

Thanks for the compliments, guys.

And just to make it shinier, I finished it with Gloss Clear.

Run it through Elizabeth a few times and it won’t be shiny no more! Nice job.

But why does the guy with yellow jaundice have his head in that little girl’s lap?

The guy with yellow jaundice???

Original figure. Quite the diff…

Great work Lou… Sure love the paint job…
