A neighbor gave me bunch he pulled up last fall. I experimented with planting them in various areas and they are all doing great. One spot is in about 2" of potting soil on top of a rock wall between some rocks to hold the soil in place. The other is in the rip-rap fill on Coal Dump Curve. Another is directly in the ballast - just opened a hole with a nail and stuck 1 cut stem in. And still more in cracks between rocks with a scoop of dirt. In all cases they are in very well drained soil.

Saw a variety at Lowes yesterday called Mexican Sedum that is just a little different. Might rtry that too.

All of my perennials are doing great this year. They seem to have liked the cool spring and didn’t mind the lack of rain. If the sun ever comes out again I’ll take some pictures.
