Any one run there pin nailer off one of those portable air tanks?
I tried it the other night/ to lazy to move compressor. Granted I had to change the hose to quick disconnect fittings @ both ends. Worked for what I wanted. Sean

No, but I used to run an airbrush off of a tank.
Makes for a much better spray.
Yes. I have a similar tank and it works great. I fill my tank to the maximum pleasure I can get out of my compressor, then run the pin nailer directly off the unregulated tank. I changed the hose to one of those self coiling hard plastic air lines and put on a quick disconnect. I have a double ended male disconnect to connect the tank to the compressor.
Haven’t tried it with the airbrush. In fact, my airbrush gets very little use.
Hey Sean,
I have to agree with Jon. I use a similar type set-up we use when we have to go out on cabinet repairs. Beats carrying a compressor, hose, and nail gun.
Chuck
This is what I ended up with!
