Pony plow for Fairymead

That is the one Eric.

I wasn’t suggesting that you build yours to be beyond its years but I thought the design of it was rather unique and that it might fit your RR a bit better than a larger caboose/boxcar/gondola setup.

Is that the same plow in the B+W photo ?

The plow in Portland is a Bridgeton plow the black and white photo is of a ww&f plow back in the day. I was just teasing about building it as it stands in Portland!

Yeah that one in Portland is in pretty rough shape. I took a few pictures and was really checking it out when we were up there this year. It was very cool. The BB&K had a 3 foot gauge one in that style that is on my future build list.

Here are some shots from yesterday:

Passing Quebec station with a short mixed train

Passing “Dot’s Place” on the way back to Winnegance

Joe backing the train into the Winnegance station to be ready in the morning, to save some work as snow is expected

Well it did snow overnight. we got between 8 and 10 feet with less under the trees.

Joe stopped at the store on the way in this morning to get a snow shovel.

Joe is looking down the line for the Rotary to come around the curve. what he doesnt see is the smoke stack of Fairymead under the drifts in front of the engine house.

Hmmmm Eric’s next project… a live steam rotary … This I have to see…

When you say “8 and 10 feet” you do mean to scale right? LOL

Ours turned to rain and now it is 52 degrees.

Old Joe has a lot of digging in his future.

Painting it really made a difference and it looks great against the white snow. We picked up justover 3 inches last night but ended as rain. Snow got heavy.

8 to 10 feet…yep that’s it! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)You think they get snow in Buffalo! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)It snowed another couple of feet after I took the photo and that car was completely buried!

This is what it looked like around here yesterday afternoon…

Another 2 feet! Ol Joe certainly caught a break when all that white stuff melted before he had to shovel it!

Great video.

Great video as always Eric. Guess you wont see bare ground until spring now. Its looking that way here as well. Just make sure you keep up on the plowing.

nice work love it
