Should we all start putting great trust in anyone that still uses loop hook couplers, buggy whips, or sucks his thumb for nutrition…

Fred, I NEVER asked you to trust me… (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

i had to smile at Joe’s argument, that his friend is old.

why should a person, who is too old to wait a little bit, sign up in a new forum?

I forgot to read the warning on the package: “LSC Forums are known to be addictive…”

I do not follow your logic. At 90 you do not want to waste time waiting around. You have to get on with things. Time is not you friend.

Thanks to BD for Expediting this matter. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Have I missed something? Rooster says that I’m still not “approved,” whatever that is. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Steve consider the source and move on.

Maynard…If you would have read the thread before posting you would realize that Rooster has no authority on Large Scale Central and post count does not give one authority.

I know my number of posts doesn’t mean anything.

First, I don’t pay any attention to how many times I have posted.

Two, a lot of my notes are an attempt to get people to think about their trains or think about what they are saying. It saddens me when people take themselves seriously. For those of us that have been around for years we have seen instances when that happens and the sad result. I am in this hobby for the fun of it and plan to keep that attitude until I stop breathing!

Me, too. I teach from time to time because I enjoy it and the extra money comes in handy. The best compliment a student ever gave me was, “You take your work seriously, but you don’t take yourself seriously.”
