I don’t think I’ve ever run the Live Steam Shay at Andy’s, but certainly have at other places. I have my 10 wheeler and geared engines there. Jan ran her Presidential Special on Sunday morning while the rest of us were at breakfast, just checking out the trackage.
Andy’s layout is modern main line and short line Ops in 1:29. At the May Ops, during the cleanup, I pulled a 24 car train with 2 GP38’s. Slow work, but we made the grade over Hill Top.
It all starts again this next weekend, 7, 8 June.
