Here are the missing pictures from my original post.
The pictures are just North of Quarryville. It was known as Hanford junction, where the NY, Susquehanna & Western ended and the Middletown picked up.

Cool. It’s amazing how fast everything gets overgrown and decayed in that wet climate. In the desert areas I’m used to, stuff can sit practically unchanged for hundred years.

Got more work done on Quarryville. The Dept has siding and the planks added to the deck. Next step is to do doors for both the station and depot. Add roof to the depot and then add an asphalt to both roofs. Im going to lookat some paint colors tomorrow but im leaning towards the downing sand color and darker color for the trim. Then it will be time to work on the water tower.
So far this is where Im at. Not perfect but for my backwoods look and oing by two photos, Im happy so far.

Those look so good and it is cool that they have a real backstory. I think you should paint them to mirror the mill in the background. Natural or white with green trim.
I hope the banjo guy is OK. It looks like some sort of critter is making for his leg.

The Mill trim(barge boards) is real close to SW Rookwood Blue Green and a fantastic historically correct color. However the Mill is not owned by the RR from what Shawn posted, so in my opinion “carry on Shawn” …BTW… White is not an acceptable color historically speaking. Ecru would be though

Yes… but Piglet was originally married to Juliet. Then Romeo came into the picture so they divorced and she moved to NJ and built Quarryville. However instead of painting the town red they painted it in colors suggested by Downing and Rookwood. Later they met the Vanderbuilts and Juliet remarried again this time naming her own town called Cornelius however Shawn has not gotten that far yet so those colors have not been discussed.

I finally finished the depot and station. I tok Roosters advise and went wih the colors he suggested. Im very happy I listened to him (as much as I really don’t want to admit it). The last step will be the water tower.
Can I ask? What do you make your roof out of?
