flip the USA switch over and solder wires to carry power to the points. I’m going from memory here as I only have one of them. A short steamer kept acting up crossing over the switch. When I tested it, the power was intermittent thru the whole switch. I remember adding wires (from old Christmas light strings) to carry power better. The switch was fine after that.
I believe it the points only get power when contacting the outer rails? When that got dirty, no power. I’ll have to go find that switch and get pics of the mods.
