Al Kramer

Happy now, Tom?

Not sure what that means, Michael.

Al has been a good supplier of model rr stuff for sometime.

It would have been a shame to loose him.

I am sure I am not the only person that is glad to see he is still around.

I was concerned that something might have happened to him.

Tom

Hey Mike,

I’m happy too! I don’t know why you wouldn’t be? (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-undecided.gif)

Tom, you first post sounded somewhat frantic, and it was also done in larger font.

So, that’s probably Michael and Joe just checking that everything is now calm.

It’s indeed comforting we did not lose / loose Al this time!

For Tom & Joe:

I’m glad that Al Kramer, previous owner of San-Val Trains in Simi Valley California, known for his very humorous custom made USAT reefers and Roll-EZ metal wheels, is back doing what he likes to do on Ebay. His absence from Ebay was caused by a crazy, disgruntled, unruly customer of his who was spewing profanities in public. Al got the short end of the stick and was told by Ebay to take a month long hiatus, which he did. Meanwhile, his daughter has been doing a great job of helping him hold his business together.

How do I know all this? By contacting him directly via the e-mail address that I posted near the very top of this thread! I bought some parts from Al about a week before Tom started this thread. But for some reason people ignored my subsequent posts and the thread developed a life of its own with speculation. I don’t think anybody wanted to get the lowdown from the horse’s mouth himself – instead electing to post a bunch of stuff about nothing (which is what half the threads around here are anyway). (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)Bah, humbug.

And now a word from our sponsor…….

Thanks Michael!

Mike,

I emailed Al just now wishing him well and that he was missed.

Good one, Joe. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

Not sure it was mentioned, but he is back on Ebay.

Just saw a flood of his ana.kramer items get relisted about 2-3 days ago. Glad to hear he is doing well. I think I purchased from him right before his hiatus as well, but I usually just email direct to purchase from him.

Tom Stephens reported Al Kramer back on eBay on Dec 10 in this thread with this link https://www.ebay.com/sch/ana.kramer/m.html?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEFSXS%3AMESOI&_trksid=p2053788.m1543.l2654

You have to tread the entire thread before posting!

Also mentioned 4 posts before yours Chris… (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Is Al Kramer still alive, and involved in any way with LS railroading equipment ?
I do hope he is still with us, and is taking nourishment…
