A few pictures from this afternoon

Rooster you need to show him the Rooster tag.

I have seen some bethgons that look like they have been burned in a fire. All black, like they are covered in soot. So the dark one doesn’t look unrealistic to me.

A tag is another word for graffiti, but I dunno that I would paint a rooster on a gon.

Thanks David, I appreciate it!

I think once it’s in a long string it will look ok too. It doesn’t look terrible outside with the 4 I have now, so I can live with it, at least for a while. I just saw that Robby is having a sale until this sunday. I wonder if I could grab some more and my wife wouldn’t notice. lol.

I’m not putting any graffiti on the gons. Now, the railbox car will be tagged. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

A rooster tag? I’m outta the loop! I still don’t know. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Matt, sure she won’t notice, just as long as she isn’t home when they arrive. Then gettem unboxed and into the mix as soon as you can and she won’t have a clue. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I dunno what the rooster tag is neither.

David, good call. I’m meeting Robby this afternoon at his shop. So, there will be a few additions to the rolling stock. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Maybe somebody will chime in with the rooster tag? (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

Nice job. This picture really illustrates how much better the trucks look painted…

I have been taking inspiration from this weathering series thread and have dirtied up a bunch of my fleet. At the very least they have received a rusty spray on the wheels and trucks.

Beating up shiny new stuff is FUN!

Oh yea it is! Very few of my cars do not at least have some rust on the wheels, trucks and couplers.

Thanks Daktah!

LOL…I get it now. I’ve been tagged. Nice job cuz. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Todd, do you have any pictures?? I agree, this is so much fun! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Sooooo…to highjack my own thread…these guys followed me home today.

Matt??? What are you using for bait to get them to follow you???

Andy, they seem to really like to eat these small pieces of green paper. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

Fantastic weathering on the CSX coal cars!

Thanks Ric!

I’ve seen that picture before and I believe it’s in Norfolk, VA, during WWII.

Only 3 more, and I’ll have that many… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I thought these were the staging yards on Andy’s layout… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
