Would you add a sheet of some type so he add a flat area to work with?

What would you use ?

I used 4 pieces of Sintra. 2’ X 4’ each. Painted the backdrop on that then added the buildings.

If you are trying to take a picture when there is something you want to weed out try using camouflage netting

Or he could go with rear projection, so the train looks like its moving even when its standing still.
