Black Forest Hobby is offering a nice looking PIKO B & O saddle tank loco. I have seen different versions of PIKO’s saddle tank and have had one in the past that I wasn’t very happy with. Have they been improved ? These two seem to have different driver sizes. The B&O has larger drivers and is about twice the cost of the D & RG.

Also, since I operate battery power via G Scale Graphics Railboss Plus, I wonder if the RB+ will affect the sound system.

Different drivers, but same body … odd, to me.

B&O 95 indeed is attractive with that driver size. Too bad there isn’t $400 in spare change lying around.

So what about performance ?
