Where is the sound control on this Forney?

Where is the sound control on the LGB Columbus Forney? I don’t see any on off switch for sound. The sound is always on.

Look on top of the water tank and open the hatch.

https://www.onlytrains.com/manuals/23252.pdf Follow this link for the manual. It is written in german with english inserted at various spots.

This is from page 7 & 8 of the linked manual. Hope this all helps. This model has a four-way power 7 USA GB control switch mounted inside the cab (Fig. 1, 2): Position 0: All power off Position 1: Power to lights and smoke generator Position 2: Power to lights, smoke generator and motor Position 3: Power to lights, smoke generator, motor and sound (factory pre-set). Controls: The sound can be switched on and off using the power control switch (see Operating Modes). The sound level can be adjusted by turning the volume control under the water tank cover on the rear of the loco (Fig. 3).

The switch in the cab is very hard to see. Position 0 is to the left side, position 3 is to the right side of the loco (looking from the fuel bunker).

Volume control for original LGB sound versions is under the water fill cap.

(I have Phoenix sound and the controls are on the bottom near the fuel tank).

Like Dan said. the switch should be on the back head of the boiler with 2, 3 or 4 positions.

Awesome! I found it. Thanks!
