I had to make the Side Roof Walks for a modeler this past January. The part is now on my website.
Just took delivery of a 3rd 3D printer so I can make larger parts like the Long Roof Walk and ladders. This new printer is also a SLA type printer ( rather than a filament type ) so the replacement parts produced look more like the originals. My work in the coming weeks is dialing it in and learning another software.
I tried uploading some images of the Roof Walk into a new album but there seams to be a glitch at the moment with transferring it to this site.
I appreciate the inquiries I have received for replacement parts since joining this group.

Well this is interesting. I made the walkways quickly by just extending one I had designed for a well car I’m working on. Now I see they are not the same as the Aristo ones as they are not segmented. So I though maybe I should rework them but I’ve been searching the interwebs and have yet to find a prototype pic with those breaks. I see USAT walkways have a extra support at each roof rib but it doesn’t break the grid pattern. Maybe I’ll just add that detail.
