Official blueprints, time to start marking up the lumber I have and see if I need to scrounge any additional 1x’s

42" of 2X4 seemed like a lot until I put on paper what I wanted to build. Now I haven’t marked up any lumber yet but I am thinking I may need to order an entire unit from the local box store.

Cleaning up the yard today I came across a plywood sheet that has been exposed outside for several years now, and it hasn’t delaminated, so I will use it for the roofs, as of today I have all my wood and am ready to start cutting as soon as the whistle blows.

Come the 13th I will have to cut everything as fast as I can as I don’t think I may have any spare time during the week nights.

Vic, be careful. Most accidents happen when people are in a hurry.

Maynard, you better hurry up and get a napkin drawing in by Saturday; you can’t hurt yourself drawing on a napkin, can you?

Look who’s talking napkins! I’ve done 2 to your none. I even sent you a pic to see a ladder!

Good one John. He walked into that

Let’s see, be in a hurry while using power tools on the 13th, yeah, what could possibly go wrong …

I’ll be wearing a high visibility safety vest, what could possibly go wrong?

Should we dial 911 now?

All my delicate precision tools and instruments are tuned and ready to start cutting, lets get going!!! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

lol, I think you can do a right bang up job making scale lumber with those. Hardly any waste either.

Better sharpen that chain while we wait, wouldn’t want a cut to wander! (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Day 1, got all the course cutting done. Building sections, floor, roofs and lift cut and screwed together, after spending alot of time trial and error trimming of the lift piece and frame pieces to notch over the rock it’s resting on, it’s now sits firmly in place. Trimming those pieces meant using my skill saw in a manner that would have given my high school wood shop instructor a kiniption fit. Now it to try and do some detail work to make this thing look less like something that was carved with a chainsaw. Sorry, no pics until I can upload them from my phone to a computer to My Album. As I’m not getting along with my laptop at home, next Tuesday earliest.

I’m sure it’s a thin kerf chainsaw …

OK someone correct me if I’m wrong here… isn’t a "Hole in the Head " technically called an “Outhouse”
